Fees

What it costs

  • Herbs, supplements and testing are separate costs
  • You'll always know the cost before proceeding

Your naturopath will explain any additional costs and what they are for before you decide whether to proceed.

New patients

First appointments

Initial naturopathy consultation

60 minutes · $160

Your first appointment. Your naturopath takes a detailed health history and discusses your symptoms, diet, sleep, stress, lifestyle and what you'd like help with, before developing an individual plan.

Couples fertility initial consultation

90 minutes · $250

An extended first appointment for both partners together. It covers the health history and preconception considerations of each partner, rather than focusing on one person alone.

Returning patients

Follow-up appointments

Standard consultation

40 minutes · $110

Your ongoing appointment to review how you've been going, discuss any changes, adjust your plan or prescriptions where appropriate, and decide on the next step.

Extended consultation

60 minutes · $160

For more complex concerns, detailed test results or when you need more time to discuss several issues in one appointment.

Brief consultation

20 minutes · $95

A shorter appointment for a specific question, a minor prescription change or a brief check-in between regular appointments.

Re-assessment consultation

60 minutes · $160

For returning patients who have not been seen for 12 months or more. This allows time to review your current health, what has changed and whether your previous plan needs to be updated.

Results review consultation

Up to 15 minutes · $30

For existing patients who need to discuss diagnostic results or make a small change to their plan without attending the clinic.

Private health insurance

Naturopathy may be claimable through some private health insurance extras policies. Natural therapy rebates were reinstated from 1 July 2025, but eligibility and rebate amounts depend on your fund and level of cover.

What you can claim depends on your policy, your remaining extras limit and any waiting periods or other conditions that apply. Check with your health fund before your appointment to confirm whether naturopathy is covered and how much you can claim. The clinic cannot confirm your individual rebate.

The naturopaths here are accredited members of Australian Traditional-Medicine Society, Australian Natural Therapists Association and Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia. Which association a practitioner is accredited with is one of the things a fund looks at, so it is worth quoting when you ring them.

In person or by telehealth

Every naturopathy consultation is available in person or by telehealth, by phone or video. The appointment and fee are the same — simply select telehealth when booking, or call reception and we'll arrange it for you.

If a physical assessment is relevant to your concerns, your naturopath will let you know and arrange an in-person appointment where appropriate.

Pay for a telehealth appointment and choose your time afterwards.

NDIS and Support at Home

Naturopathy is not routinely funded under either scheme, and it may be considered in some circumstances depending on how your plan is managed and what it is funded for. Both are answered in the FAQs.

Cancellations

Naturopathy appointments are reserved for you, with initial consultations running for 60–90 minutes. Giving us at least 24 hours' notice allows us to offer the appointment to another patient.

You'll receive an SMS reminder the day before your appointment, usually around midday. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call (03) 9089 7568 at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Cancellations made on the day, and missed appointments, incur a late cancellation fee.
