A saliva collection kit for female hormone assessment. You collect the samples at home, at the points in your cycle and the times of day your naturopath specifies, and the laboratory analyses them. Because saliva measures the unbound fraction of a hormone and can be collected repeatedly without a trip to a collection centre, it shows a pattern across the day or the cycle rather than a single point in time.
