Cortisol follows a daily rhythm, high shortly after waking and falling through the day, so one blood sample captures a single point on a line. This kit is collected four times across a single day at home, on waking, midday, late afternoon and evening, with DHEA read from the morning tube. The melatonin option adds a fifth tube collected at midnight in a dark room. All four cortisol tubes have to come from the same day.
- Measures: Cortisol × 4 — collected at 6–8am, noon, 4pm and 8pm, DHEA-S, with melatonin from a fifth midnight tube if you choose that option
