Jessica Pensa

Thyroid, Hormonal & Acne Naturopath

Jessica Pensa is a naturopath whose practice focuses on the conditions conventional treatment often struggles to resolve fully — thyroid disorders, hormonal imbalance, autoimmune conditions and hormonal acne.

She holds a four-year Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, and brings both academic grounding and clinical dedication to every consultation. Her approach rests on one idea: that lasting health comes from understanding the whole person rather than managing their symptoms one at a time.

Clinical focus

Jess’s expertise centres on the endocrine system, with particular attention to:

  • thyroid and autoimmune conditions
  • hormonal imbalance and fatigue
  • anxiety and low mood
  • fertility concerns
  • skin health, particularly hormonal acne

She’s especially interested in skin, recognising that acne and other skin conditions frequently reflect deeper hormonal and gut imbalances. Rather than defaulting to conventional first-line treatments, she works on the drivers underneath.

How she works

Jess takes a thoroughly individualised approach, drawing on a range of naturopathic testing and analysis to build an accurate picture of each person’s health. From there she develops a personalised plan incorporating herbal medicine, nutritional therapeutics, dietary planning and lifestyle medicine.

Her training in integrative complementary medicine means she works collaboratively alongside GPs and specialists — which matters particularly with thyroid and autoimmune conditions, where medical diagnosis and monitoring are part of the picture.

Membership

Jess is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association.

What does Jess focus on?

The endocrine system, mainly — thyroid and autoimmune conditions, hormonal imbalance, fatigue, anxiety, low mood and fertility concerns. She also works a great deal with skin, particularly acne that has a hormonal or digestive driver behind it.

Does Jess work with my GP?

Yes. Her training in integrative complementary medicine is specifically about working alongside GPs and specialists, and thyroid and autoimmune conditions in particular need medical diagnosis and monitoring.

What are Jess's qualifications?

A four-year Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, and she's a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association.
